After the first OLED TV, the XEL-1 Sony, LG is also ready to debut on the market its first OLED TV, this one with a diagonal of "only" 15 inches.

After several presentations of screens even higher dimensions, various promises and prototypes and movies on youtube, finally looks something concrete after more than a year after the launch of the Sony TV.

The characteristics are very similar to Sony's cousin, in fact, the panel has a thickness of just three millimeters and a resolution of 1366 × 768 pixels and a contrast of one million to 1., Instead of the device remain the refresh rate of 100Hz and time guaranteed response of only 0.001 milliseconds.

For audio, there is the Clear Voice sound system that allows you to adjust the voice than the rest of the sounds, to ensure an optimal listening in all Visitation.

Excellent data of electricity consumption, about 30% compared to one or LCD screen, excellent even the presence of USB port, on the XEL-1 is missing.

There is still a very high price, even if halved compared to the XEL-1, the 'LG EL9500 will be sold in Crich 1999 euros in Europe from next May.

Opinion

Another step forward for the opening of a real market for OLED TV, but back up slowly, do not deviate from the 15-inch TV now veramenti suitable for kitchen or little else, while good news is the price, which fell much in percentage terms, while still high in absolute value, so it is not clear what the target users of the product.
